Description
The Service Boot is an updated interpretation of Viberg’s original work boot, designed by founder Edwin Viberg in 1931. A similar pattern was used by multiple nations as a standard issue military boot during WWII.
This make up is constructed with a 2.2 – 2.4mm heavyweight, oiled natural cowhide from the prestigious Japanese Tochigi tannery – one of the most famous in the world for the quality of its veg tanned cowhides. It is slow tanned in pits before being air dried for around two months. This results in one of the premium cowhides produced globally and delivers the depth of tone demonstrated here.
