Description
The Zetto is a 15oz selvedge denim invented some 10 years ago. Low tension fabrics were new to Japan and denim makers had very little experience with it, but as he adjusted the shuttle looming machine he created a fabric that was more slubby than he had ever seen before. With a little luck, the original Z fabric was formed. Since then, Tanuki denim makers perfected the low-tension technique. The current production process involves a laborious weave which creates the irregular texture of the denim. This tirelessly slow production is carried out on a single and final loom, and once this loom is out of order the denim will never be made again. Zetto fabric is aptly named after its unique and limited quality.
